Pass Christian High School is pleased to announce several athletes have been selected a Clarion Ledger All State Athlete.

Haden Cuevas, a sophomore on the Pirate swim team, competed in multiple events. At the Class 1 South State Swim Championships, Cuevas won both the 100-meter Butterfly, and 100-meter Backstroke. Upon advancing to the Class 1 State Championships, Cuevas finished second in the 100-meter Backstroke, and third in the 100-meter Butterfly.

In Archery, Pass Christian High School has two All State Nominees: Harley Blanton and Davon Klein. At the MHSAA Class II Archery South State Championships, Klein scored a 276 out of a possible 300, while Blanton shot 275 to lead the Pirates to the South State Title. At the MHSAA State Championships, Klein shot 290 and Blanton 289 to earn Clarion Ledger Sports Award honors.

In Track and Field, Kamden Skinner is the three-time defending 4A High Jump State Champion and 2018 4A Triple Jump State Champion. At the 2019 State Track and Field Championships, Skinner competed in 4 events winning the 4A High Jump title for the third time helping the Lady Pirates to a second place finish.

The Clarion Ledger All Sports Awards Banquet was Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson.
