Association, Inc., Diamondhead, Hancock County, Mississippi, will receive sealed or electronic bids at Diamondhead Country Club and Property Owners' Association, Inc.,
Offices located at 7610 Country Club Circle,
Diamondhead, MS 39525 until 10:00 a.m. (Central Time) on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. (Central Time) on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in the
Owner's Offices for the following project:
Paradise Bayou Dredging, Hancock County, MS
These bids are invited for the dredging of: Paradise Bayou, Hancock County,
Mississippi.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in the POA Offices at 7610 Country Club Circle,
Diamondhead, MS 39525.
Bid Documents are available for viewing,
ordering and downloading at www.phbidding.co. Interested bidders must log-in or register for an account to obtain documents. Documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website
When submitting an electronic bid, the bid must be submitted in "pdf" format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. When
submitting a bid electronically, the authorized signature shall be an electronic signature or handwritten in blue-ink signature. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a
corrupted attachment, the bid will be
considered null and void. Bids must be
submitted upon the standard forms contained within these contract documents furnished by the Owner noted in the Information For
Bidders. All Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Diamondhead Country Club and Property Owners Association, Inc., negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid bond executed by Bidder and an acceptable surety, must be submitted in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of total bid.
All bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any work must comply with Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972, by having a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of
Public Contractors. When bids are submitted electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of responsibility, or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), on the
exterior of the bid envelope shall be deemed in compliance by including the same
information as an attachment with the
electronic bid submittal.
Contractors have the option of submitting their bids sealed in an envelope or
electronically through www.phbidding.co. If sealed envelope bid is submitted by mail, the post office address of the Owner is 7610 Country Club Circle, Diamondhead, MS 39525. Sealed bid envelopes shall be marked
"SEALED BID FOR PARADISE BAYOU DREDGING, DIAMONDHEAD, MISSISSIPPI TO BE OPENED AT 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 26, 2020," and if any envelope is not so marked, any bid contained therein will not be considered.
