We Remember: Local communities, groups honor our veterans

Veterans from every U.S. conflict since World War II showed up in force Saturday for the Diamondhead Memorial Day Service “Under the Oaks” at the Diamondhead Country Club. Guest speaker for the event was Rear Admiral Brian B. Brown, U.S. Navy Commander at Stennis Space Center. Sponsors for the event were the city Of Diamondhead, the Diamondhead POA, The DCA, and VFW Post 2880. Marine Lt. Col. (ret.) Chuck Ingraham emceed the event.
