Louisiana man charged in assault of local juvenile

Waveland police on Friday charged a 19-year-old Bogalusa man with the sexual assault of a juvenile after a two-week investigation, Police Chief David Allen said.
Waveland Investigator Matt Sekinger, who is the lead investigator in the case said, "Ethan Dixon, 19, of Bogalousa, La., was arrested Friday morning, and charged with the sexual assault of a (an underage female), and also with possession of a controlled substance."
Waveland Municipal Judge P.J. Mauffray set Dixon's bond at $100,000 for the sexual assault and $500 for the possession charge.
"Today Waveland Police received word that Dixon would be coming to the girl's apartment, and upon receiving that information, the two were found together," Sekinger said.
Investigators Eddie Peterson and David Buckley also participated.
"We are continuing our investigation in this case and there may more charges pending," he added.
"We take protecting our children very seriously this city," Allen said. "Crimes like this will be fully investigated in the city of Waveland."
