With gallery openings, live music, and extended shop hours, the Second Saturday Artwalk has become a beloved family event the past two decades.
For the May artwalk in Old Town Bay St. Louis, merchants, restaurants, and gallery owners have teamed up to offer products and specials designed to make the 100th anniversary of Mother’s Day a very special one, according to Old Town Merchant President, Jane Alford, owner of Bay-Tique and Carroll House Bed and Breakfast.
“It’s about making memories with Mom,” says Alford. You can treat her to a sunset on the beach, a meal at one of our restaurants, and then stroll through the shops and galleries. When she finds something she really admires, you can sneak back and get the perfect gift!”
“You can make a weekend of it too,” adds Alford, “by staying at one of our Old Town B&Bs or vacation rentals!”
