Leslie Lizet Herrera, 32, of Bay St. Louis has been arrested and charged with attempted acquisition of a prescription by fraud, according to a news release from the Gulfport Police Department.
The Gulfport Patrol Division responded to a call at the CVS pharmacy on U.S. 49 where officers learned an unknown person called in a prescription for Herrera. Herrera later arrived and attempted to purchase the prescription.
The pharmacy verified the prescription was false and notified police, who arrested Herrera at the store.
She was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center with bail set at $10,000 by Gulfport Municipal Judge Fant Walker.
