Ventura Joseph Houpy, Jr.
Ventura Joseph Houpy, Jr., 82, of Perkinston, MS passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Slidell, LA.
Mr. Houpy was born in New Orleans, LA and had lived in Perkinston, MS for the past seven years, he was of the Catholic Faith, served in the United States Marine Corps. He received the Bronze Star during the Korean Conflict. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Mr. Houpy was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Houpy; four brothers, Albert, Michael, Robert "Bobby", and Lawrence "Larry" Houpy.
Survived by his son, Ventura J. Houpy III of Perkinston, MS; daughter, Ann M. Van Court of Picayune, MS; two brothers, Raymond Houpy (Wendy) of Lacombe, LA; Charles Houpy (Jo Ann) of Walker, LA; sister, Charlene Rush (Roger) of Kenner, LA; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 10:00 am until 12 noon at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm with Military Honors at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.

Jeffrey Tyler Jones
Jeffrey Tyler Jones, 61, of Waveland, MS passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Waveland.
Jeffrey was an Environmental Geologist. He worked for the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, he enjoyed the study of ancient history and architecture. Jeffrey was multi-lingual, speaking Latin, German, Italian, French, and read Ancient Greek. He loved the North Woods and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Jeffrey will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Paul & Romine Jones of Waveland, MS; two brothers, Alan Jones (Robin) of San Antonio, TX; Roger Jones of Chandler, AZ; and sister, Susan Jones of Holland, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Nancy Katherine Lozano
Nancy Katherine Lozano, 63, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Bay St. Louis.
Ms. Lozano was of the Catholic Faith, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the past 15 years. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos J. Lozano, Jr. & Lois Vollenweider Lozano.
Survived by two brothers, Carlos Joseph Lozano III (Shelley) and Don Lozano both of Waveland, MS; four sisters, Sandra Somerville (Ronald) of Kenner, LA; Carlotta Arnsdorff of Bay St. Louis, MS; Peggy Bourgeois of Waveland, MS; Chrissy Dapremont (Edgar) of Gulfport, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2013 from 10:00 am until 12 noon at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS with a Memorial Mass to follow at noon.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hancock County Animal Shelter, 7175 Texas Flat Rd, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520 or Notre Dame Hospice, 1000 Howard Ave. 10th Floor, New Orleans, LA 70113.
