Waveland P.D. seeks publicís help to find mini-storage unit burglars

Burglars apparently hit Bay-Waveland Mini Storage over the weekend, breaking into at least 19 storage units, Waveland Police Chief David Allen said Monday.
At approximately 8:45 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to 926 Highway 90, Bay-Waveland Mini Storage, in reference to the burglaries, Allen said,
Investigator Eddie Peterson, who is in charge of the investigation reported, "The suspect or suspects pried open the doors of some 19 units causing damage to the doors and frames. It was undetermined what items were taken from each unit.
"We are handling each case individually and are awaiting information from each lessee. The investigation is still ongoing at this time. If anyone has any tips on these burglaries, please call Central Dispatch at 228-255-9191. For anonymous tips, please visit our website at www.wavelandpolice.com."
Officer Jody Richardson is assisting Peterson in the case, Allen said.
