The area teams were back in full swing on the diamond this past weekend. The Bay High Tigers and the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-chaws completed their regular season two-game series on Friday night at the Fred Weems Baseball Complex.

Bay High head coach Rickey Smith commented, “We made some errors on defense that cost us and SSC took advantage of those miscues. Against Hancock on Saturday, we played a bunch of younger players trying to get them some reps on the varsity level. We battled hard especially in the first game. In the second game, we just ran out of arms on the mound. I am proud of the way we played. This week in division play, we want to play the spoiler role and get wins in the division.”
