Sheriff seeks identity of Pass beating victim

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is still seeking the identity of a man who was found unconscious in Pass Christian on Monday.
Harrison County Sheriff Melvin T. Brisolara said an unidentified white male had apparently been assaulted and left on Cunningham Road near Lobouy Rd. in Pass Christian, at approximately 7:03 p.m. on Sunday.
"A passing motorist saw the man laying near the roadway and called 911 to notify the sheriff's office," Brisolara said in a press release. "Deputies arrived and found the man, who is described as approximately 25 to 35 years of age, 5'6" to 5'8" in height, weighing approximately 220 to 240 pounds, with black hair and a goatee, wearing a blue pair of cargo-style shorts.
"The unknown victim also has tattoos on his right lower leg and his right upper arm. The victim suffered multiple injuries and was transported to a local area hospital.
The victim was later airlifted to the University of South Alabama Medical Center with severe head trauma, where he remains in critical condition."
Brisolara is asking for assistance from the public to help identify the victim and for calls from anyone who may have seen someone in the area of Cunningham Rd. and Lobouy Rd. in Pass Christian between 6 and 7 p.m. on Sunday.
