St. Patrick’s Day parades in Waveland, Pass Christian

Waveland will host its 49th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m.
The parade begins near the city park at the corner of Central and Waveland avenues.
It will then travel east on Central to Coleman Avenue, turn down Coleman Avenue towards the beach, and then travel west on the beach back to Waveland Avenue.
This year's grand marshal is Brent D. Anderson, 40, of Waveland, and the Colleen is Samantha Ladner, daughter of Tonya and Matt Ladner of Ansley.
• Pass Christian will host its 13th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 17 at 1 p.m..
The parade will begin on Scenic Drive at Wolfe's and City Hall and travel down to Scenic to Hern.
From Hern the parade will travel down to Davis Ave. and then turn north.
The route will end at Handy Street.
The grand marshal is Clark Brennan of Pass Christian and the Colleen is Jane Todd Betz, a junior at Pass Christian High School.
Following the parade, corned beef and cabbage will be served at Pass Christian Harbor Bar and Grill.
