The Hancock TRIAD (The Right Information and Direction) meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb.19, 11:30 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, Clermont Harbor, Lower Bay Road.
TRIAD is a program of "Seniors and Law Enforcement Working Together," according to TRIAD Coordinator Frank McNeil, Hancock County Sheriff's Office.
A meal will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. provided by TRIAD, as well as give-a-ways and door prizes, McNeil said.
An information program starts at noon, with Theresa Burns, Mississippi Relay Equipment Distribution Program coordinator, who will talk about a program that provides equal access telephone service and equipment to the deaf and hearing impaired.
Representatives from Hancock County Central Police/Fire Dispatch and American Medical Response (AMR), will provide current information on procedures to handle complaints and medical emergencies of impaired seniors, as well as other citizens in Hancock County.
There will be a question and answer period with the meeting adjourning at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. so attendees should plan on arriving a little early to get a good seat, McNeil said.
The Hancock County TRIAD Program is sponsored by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office through a grant and is supported by the Hancock County Retired Senior Volunteer Program, (RSVP).
