Soccer bounces into a break

The area teams have hit an early season break in soccer with Thanksgiving this week.
The St. Stanislaus Rock-a-chaws (5-2-1) defeated Biloxi on Friday 3-2. Max Matsenbaugh, Parker Slade and Beau Rimmer all scored for SSC.
On Monday, the Rocks beat Sacred Heart 5-2 as Rimmer, Slade, Gabe Toepfer, Alex Koons and Kade Wittmann all scored. Charlie Demetz and Rimmer each had two assists, as well.
The Pass Christian Pirates (4-2) dropped their game with Long Beach 2-0 on Friday.
Hancock defeated Picayune 4-0 Monday but game details were not available.
Bay High remains 1-1-3.
In girls action, the Lady Tigers (4-1-1) defeated Picayune on Saturday 7-0 but game details were not available.
Hancock topped Picayune 9-0 on Monday. Game details were not available.
Pass Christian dropped their game with Long Beach 4-0 on Friday while OLA tied Biloxi 0-0.
In upcoming action, Bay High boys travel to West Harrison and the Lady Tigers host West Harrison on Tuesday, November 28th.
The Hancock Hawks travel to St. Martin on Tuesday.
OLA will play in the High School Showcase at Gulfport on December 1st and 2nd
SSC travels to Moss Point on Friday , December 1st.
