Veterans Day observances

This Saturday, November 11, the VFW Post 2880 will be hosting a Veterans Day Parade in Diamondhead. Set up is at the Country Club at 1:00, the parade will start at 2 and roll down Golf Club Drive to City Hall.

There are a number of ceremonies scheduled for this weekend in honor of Veterans Day.
Clement R. Bontemps American Legion Post 139, Bay St Louis will host the annual Hancock County Veterans Day activities on Friday, Nov. 10. The program will begin at 11: a.m. at the Legion Home on Green Meadow Road in Bay St Louis. Post 139 has been honoring this important day in Hancock County for about 80 years.
American Legion Post 77 -Waveland will be doing a Veterans Day service at the Post Hall on Veterans Day. Everyone is welcome.

Also participating will be the Diamondhead Fire Department, Hancock County High School Junior ROTC, JOPPA Shriners, Harold Dawley's military vehicles, decorated golf carts, and the Diamondhead Topless Club (better known as convertibles).
