Haunted Happenings in Hancock & West Harrison

Halloween night is coming up on Tuesday, and Hancock County and Pass Christian will be celebrating with a host of "haunted happenings" for children and adults alike.
Spook-tacular area events on tap for the next few days include:

Haunted Brewery Tours
Lazy Magnolia Brewery in Kiln will host Haunted Brewery Tours Friday and Saturday, at 4, 5 and 6 p.m. Friday; and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. Family friendly. Come dressed in your Halloween costume.

Misfits to host Trunk or Treat
The Misfits Street Krewzers will host their annual Trunk or Treat at the Bay St. Louis Train Depot on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 4-8 p.m. Awards for Best Costume by age groups; and Best Decorated Car award.

Lutheran Church of the PInes Trunk or Treat
Lutheran Church of the Pines, located at 309 Hwy. 90, Waveland, will host a free Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6-7 p.m.

The Gulf Coast Halloween Carnival et Fête de Rue
The Gulf Coast Halloween Carnival et Fête de Rue will bring live music, barbecue and craft beer to Pass Christian's War Memorial Park on Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29, with arts & crafts vendors and "old school" games. Find more at www.gulfcoasthalloween.com.

Old Town Trunk or Treat
Old Town Presbyterian Church on Ulman Avenue in Bay St. Louis will host a free Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 5-7 p.m. Games and family fun.

Shoreline Park Fall Festival
Shoreline Park Baptist Church will host its Fall Festival on Tuesday, Oct. 31, Halloween Night, from 5-7:30 p.m. There will be a hayride, food, games, a photo booth, face painting and a Trunk-or-Treat. Everyone is welcome.

Word of Faith Fall Festival
Word of Faith Christian Fellowship will host its annual Fall Festival on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 103 Old Spanish Trail, Waveland.
Games, spacewalk, hayride, face painting, music, candy, hot dogs, pizza, popcorn. The event is free to attend. For more information, contact Sherrie Sims at 228-216-5094.

Waveland Halloween Bash
The city of Waveland will present its annual Halloween Bash and Trunk or TReat on Halloween night, Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Haunted Cemetery Tour
The Hancock County Historical Society will host the 23rd annual Cemetery Tour on Halloween night -- Tuesday, Oct. 31 -- at Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. and continues until 8 p.m.
Admission is free, but donations will be graciously accepted. After the tour, everyone is invited to the Lobrano House around the corner from the cemetery at 108 Cue St. for hotdogs, punch, cookies and other treats. As usual, the historical society will not have a luncheon in October so that volunteers may devote all their energy to the cemetery tour.

Retrofit Trunk or Treat
Retrofit Community Club invites all ghouls and goblins to join the club for Trunk or Treat on Halloween Night, Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m., at MLK Park, Washington Street, Bay St. Louis. There will be lots of candy, free food, music and games. If you would like to participate as an organization, group or individual, or would like to make a donation, please call 228-493-3822.

Legion Post 77 Hosts Trick or Treat
Bourgeois Stieffel Ray American Legion Post & Auxiliary 77 will welcome Trick or Treaters on Halloween night from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Post 77 Hall located at 503 Waveland Ave.
