An Infinity SUV, driven by Barbara Hammett, of Metairie, ran into the back of the former Neil's Southern Delights Restaurant in Bay St. Louis after a collision with another vehicle driven by David Miller of Slidell.
Nobody was injured Saturday when an SUV drove through a cooler in the Market Town Shopping Center in Bay St. Louis.
Bay St. Louis Police Captain Wes Mayley said Monday that BPD was notified of the crash at about 2:08 p.m. Saturday. Apparently, Mayley said, an Infinity SUV, driven by Barbara Hammett, of Metairie, was traveling south on Dunbar Avenue when a 2011 Kia, driven by David Miller, of Slidell was attempting to exit the shopping center parking lot.
"The Kia attempted to enter Dunbar Avenue and struck the SUV," Mayley said. "The driver lost control of her vehicle for a moment and it drove into the building."
The cooler was in the back of the former Neil's Southern Delights restaurant. The crash caused damage to the cooler and to Hammett's vehicle. Mayley said neither driver was injured.
