Hancock County Youth Court is seeking to hire a youth court administrator for the fourth time in the past 16 months.
Youth Court Judge Elise Deano informed the Hancock County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday that administrator Stephanie Stewart had tendered her resignation.
The board then went into executive session to discuss personnel issues at youth court. Stewart's departure marks the third time an administrator at youth court has stepped down since the end of 2015.
Deano did not give a reason for Stewart's resignation, but she asked supervisors to consider hiring extra help due to the large workload at youth court.
In other action on Tuesday, supervisors discussed a "legal matter" related to Hancock Medical Center in executive session.
Earlier this month, supervisors held a public hearing to discuss whether to sell or lease the hospital. The board is expected to make a decision soon, however, it board took no action once they came out of the closed-door session.
Hancock County Emergency Management Director Brian Adam announced that he was stepping down from his position as building and grounds director. Adam will stay on as the county's fire marshal and EOC director.
